I like this one.  Stevensons Acrylic on 9×12 inch canvas board.  Painted on the open range back on August 14th.  My old buddy Jazzy Moon and I had a short discussion on the difference between ravens, crows and “other birds”.  So!  Here we are with other birds, who are now long gone, having made their nests, raised their young, and flown away.

The ravens and the crows quite on the other hand are here to stay.  I hear them around 5 a.m., causing a fuss down there by the waterfalls.  And the crickets have arrived in force.  You can hear them, in every direction and its quite loverly actually, as if it weren’t for them, there would be no sound at all during the late morning, afternoon and evenings.
